- Analyze global tech trends, regulatory shifts, and market disruptions to inform strategic priorities
- Secure $5M+ in R&D funding through grant applications and strategic partnerships
- Present innovation frameworks to investors and board members driving 30% YoY growth
- Mentor a 15-person innovation lab in design thinking and emerging technologies
- Collaborate with patent counsel to protect proprietary IP across 20+ jurisdictions
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech innovation with 5+ years in strategic leadership roles
- Proven track record of launching commercialized products from R&D (>$100M impact)
- Expertise in emerging tech domains: Generative AI, synthetic biology, or carbon capture
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business (PhD/MBA preferred)
- Certification in Innovation Management (e.g., PDMA, CMI) or equivalent
- Experience securing government grants and venture capital for deep-tech projects
- Portfolio of 3+ patented innovations or published research in top-tier journals
