Responsibilities
- Design and execute 2026 technology roadmaps across quantum computing, biotech, and AI convergence
- Lead 15+ person innovation teams through agile development of experimental prototypes
- Forge strategic partnerships with academia, government labs, and Fortune 500 enterprises
- Develop ethical governance frameworks for emerging technologies including generative AI
- Present innovation blueprints to C-suite and board stakeholders with data-driven ROI projections
- Manage $5M+ annual R&D budget with quarterly milestone reviews
- Curate patent portfolios protecting breakthrough innovations in sustainable tech
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Futurism (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years experience in R&D leadership with 3+ years in emerging tech strategy
- Proven track record launching at least two disruptive tech products
- Deep expertise in quantum computing, synthetic biology, or neuromorphic systems
- Exceptional stakeholder management with C-suite/board presentation experience
- Published research in IEEE Nature or equivalent peer-reviewed journals
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum programming languages (Qiskit)
- Security clearance or ability to obtain federal research credentials
