Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech) aligned with 2026 global trends
- Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, and futurists to prototype breakthrough solutions
- Conduct horizon scanning and scenario planning for disruptive market shifts
- Forge partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Present findings to C-suite executives and international stakeholders
- Manage $2M+ innovation budgets with ROI-focused KPIs
- Author white papers on future-of-work paradigms
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy/innovation roles with Fortune 500 or scale-up experience
- Advanced degree in Technology, Economics, or Futures Studies
- Proven track record in launching moonshot projects (minimum 3 successful case studies)
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (e.g., neuromorphic computing, synthetic biology)
- Experience with futures forecasting methodologies (Delphi, horizon scanning)
- Strong network with academic and policy innovation ecosystems
- Certification in Agile/Scrum and systems thinking
- Prior experience influencing national tech policy frameworks
