- Lead end-to-end innovation lifecycle from ideation to market validation for 2026-era technologies
- Develop strategic roadmaps for emerging domains (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AI ethics)
- Drive cross-functional collaboration between R&D, product, and commercial teams
- Establish industry partnerships with Fortune 500 companies and academic institutions
- Secure $5M+ annual innovation funding through compelling investment narratives
- Build and mentor a high-performing innovation lab team of 12+ specialists
- Represent company at global tech forums (Web Summit, CES, etc.)
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech innovation with 5+ years in strategic leadership
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough products (>3 $100M+ innovations)
- Advanced degree in STEM field or equivalent industry experience
- Expertise in futures forecasting methodologies (scenario planning, Delphi technique)
- Deep understanding of emerging tech stack (AI/ML, blockchain, quantum computing)
- Executive-level stakeholder management experience
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
- Patent portfolio or equivalent IP contribution history
