Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional R&D teams in developing next-gen tech roadmaps
- Identify emerging trends (quantum, biotech, AGI) and translate into actionable strategies
- Secure $10M+ in innovation grants and partnerships with Fortune 500 firms
- Present breakthrough concepts to C-suite executives and venture capitalists
- Oversee patent portfolios and intellectual property commercialization
- Mentor junior scientists and drive innovation culture across departments
Qualifications
- 15+ years in tech strategy with 5+ in emerging tech leadership
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futuristics
- Proven track record scaling ventures from concept to $100M+ valuations
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI ethics, or climate tech
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent tier journals
- Fluency in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, scenario planning)
