Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026-focused innovation roadmaps aligned with emerging tech trends
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating breakthrough concepts
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and industry disruptors
- Drive adoption of AI, quantum computing, and sustainable tech solutions
- Secure $5M+ in innovation funding through grant proposals and investor pitches
- Mentor talent in future-focused methodologies and agile development
- Present innovation frameworks to C-suite executives and board members
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology innovation with 5+ years in leadership roles
- Proven track record delivering products with 2026+ market impact
- Expertise in emerging tech: quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence
- Experience securing government innovation grants (SBIR, NIH, NSF)
- Published thought leadership in IEEE or Nature Futures journal
- Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Futurism
- Strong network connections with DARPA, NASA, or equivalent institutions
