- Develop and execute the 2026 technology innovation roadmap aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and scaling emerging technologies (AI/ML, quantum, biotech)
- Identify and secure strategic partnerships with research institutions and industry disruptors
- Present innovation strategies to C-suite and board members securing $10M+ annual R&D budgets
- Mentor a 15-person innovation lab of PhD researchers and engineers
- Drive commercialization of 3+ breakthrough technologies annually
- Establish KPIs tracking innovation ROI and market disruption metrics
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology innovation with 5+ years in leadership roles
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (AI/quantum/sustainable tech)
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience securing $5M+ R&D budgets from C-suite stakeholders
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, IEEE) or equivalent industry impact
- Deep knowledge of regulatory landscapes for emerging technologies
- Exceptional strategic planning and stakeholder management skills
