Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive 2026 technology foresight framework analyzing AI, biotech, quantum computing, and climate tech intersections
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, product, and design teams to prototype future-state solutions
- Author quarterly trend briefings and scenario-planning documents for executive leadership and board stakeholders
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, government labs, and emerging startups
- Design and execute immersive innovation workshops using design thinking and speculative futures methodologies
- Translate complex technological trends into business opportunities with clear ROI projections
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal innovation culture through knowledge-sharing initiatives
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging technology research
- Proven track record of successfully commercializing futuristic concepts (portfolio required)
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging domains: generative AI, synthetic biology, or decentralized systems
- Exceptional systems thinking with ability to model complex socio-technological ecosystems
- Published thought leadership in industry journals or major tech publications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies including Delphi, horizon scanning, and scenario planning
- Experience presenting to C-level executives and influencing high-stakes strategic decisions
