In this pivotal position, you'll collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to anticipate paradigm shifts, identify disruptive opportunities, and develop actionable strategies that position our company as a thought leader in the next generation of technological advancement.
Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) to forecast industry shifts by 2026
- Develop strategic roadmaps for technology adoption and innovation incubation
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-facing initiatives
- Produce whitepapers and thought leadership content on technology foresight
- Partner with R&D teams to prioritize breakthrough projects with 2026 market potential
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory factors affecting tech evolution
- Build external networks with futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or tech R&D leadership
- Proven track record of developing technology roadmaps for 5+ year horizons
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, AR/VR, etc.)
- Exceptional analytical and scenario-planning capabilities
- Strong presentation skills with experience to executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in tech futurism or innovation strategy
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable business strategies
