We're seeking a visionary leader to decode emerging trends and position our organization at the forefront of 2026's technological landscape. This role requires a blend of strategic foresight, technical acumen, and innovation management to prepare for the next wave of breakthrough technologies.
As a key member of our Global Innovation Council, you'll collaborate with C-suite executives to develop long-term roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and sustainable tech ecosystems. Your insights will directly shape product roadmaps, investment strategies, and talent acquisition for the next decade.
Responsibilities
- Forecast and analyze emerging technologies with 2026 market impact (AI ethics, quantum adoption, biotech convergence)
- Develop strategic roadmaps for technology integration across 5 industry verticals
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future innovation priorities
- Author annual FutureState Reports with data-driven predictions and risk assessments
- Partner with R&D to prototype solutions for 2026's biggest challenges (climate resilience, AI governance)
- Establish KPIs for measuring technological preparedness and innovation maturity
- Represent the company at global tech foresight forums (Singularity Summit, Techonomy)
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic tech planning or futurist consulting with Fortune 500 exposure
- Advanced degree in Technology Forecasting, Systems Thinking, or Future Studies
- Published thought leadership on 2026 technology trends (Gartner/SILO reports preferred)
- Expertise in scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (quantum, neuromorphic, synthetic biology)
- Proven track record of translating foresight into actionable business strategies
- Strong data visualization skills with tools like Tableau or Power BI
- Certification in Futures Research (AFR or CFTR) preferred
