Responsibilities

- Conduct horizon scanning to identify breakthrough innovations with 3-5 year commercialization potential
- Design ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and human-AI symbiosis in 2026 ecosystems
- Present strategic visions to C-suite executives and government technology councils
- Secure partnerships with academic institutions and national research laboratories
- Monitor geopolitical and socio-economic shifts affecting technology adoption timelines
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or Futurist Studies with 5+ years applied research experience
- Proven track record in developing technology roadmaps with 3+ year implementation horizons
- Expertise in at least two emerging fields: quantum algorithms, neuromorphic computing, or climate-tech AI
- Published thought leadership in IEEE Nature or similar tier-1 technology journals
- Proficiency in scenario planning tools (e.g., PESTLE analysis, Delphi methodology)
- Experience securing $10M+ in R&D funding from government or private foundations
