Responsibilities
- Analyze converging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI) to forecast 2026 market landscapes
- Develop scenario-planning models for geopolitical shifts and climate adaptation strategies
- Lead cross-functional sprints to prototype breakthrough solutions in urban mobility and healthcare
- Present strategic roadmaps to C-suite executives and government stakeholders
- Mentor junior futurists through our 'Horizon Fellowship' program
- Author white papers on ethical AI governance and human-machine symbiosis
- Coordinate with global R&D labs to accelerate patent portfolios for 2026 innovations
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, technology consulting, or policy analysis
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, neuromorphic, etc.)
- Proven track record of influencing multi-billion dollar investment decisions
- Published thought leadership in Nature, MIT Tech Review, or equivalent
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Proficiency in foresight tools (STEEP analysis, Delphi method, scenario modeling)
- Experience with UN Sustainable Development Goals framework
- Portfolio demonstrating 5+ successful future-state implementations
