Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify and validate emerging technologies with 2026 commercialization potential
- Develop strategic frameworks for integrating breakthrough innovations into core business operations
- Produce trend intelligence reports and scenario-planning models for executive decision-making
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to align teams on future technology adoption strategies
- Establish KPIs for tracking innovation maturity and competitive positioning
- Represent the company at global futurist forums and industry thought leadership events
- Mentor innovation teams in applying foresight methodologies to product development
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic innovation, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of translating trend analysis into commercial opportunities
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and systems thinking methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills with executive presentation experience
- Certification in futurist frameworks (e.g., WFS, APF) or equivalent
- Portfolio of published trend analyses or innovation roadmaps
