Responsibilities
- Develop and execute multi-year strategic foresight frameworks for 2026+ technology landscape
- Analyze disruptive trends across AI, quantum computing, climate tech, and synthetic biology
- Lead scenario planning workshops to anticipate market shifts and competitive threats
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-proofing principles into innovation pipelines
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Produce annual 'State of 2026' trend reports with actionable insights
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurism roles
- Expertise in exponential technology forecasting (AI/ML, quantum, biotech)
- Proven track record of translating future trends into business strategy
- Advanced degree in strategic foresight, technology management, or related field
- Certification in Futures Studies or Strategic Foresight preferred
- Exceptional communication skills for executive-level presentations
- Portfolio of published trend analyses or scenario planning projects
- Experience with horizon scanning tools and foresight methodologies
