Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends, technological disruptions, and socioeconomic shifts to forecast 2026's business landscape
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive strategic foresight framework for the organization
- Lead scenario planning workshops to prepare for multiple future outcomes
- Translate complex future insights into executable product roadmaps and business strategies
- Build and nurture a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
- Present future outlook reports to executive leadership and board members
- Champion innovation culture through internal thought leadership and external speaking engagements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 7+ years of experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) and societal impacts
- Exceptional storytelling and communication skills with executive audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-shaping initiatives or published foresight work
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., STEEP analysis, Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
- Global mindset with cross-cultural experience and futurist network connections
