Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives identifying disruptive technologies and societal shifts through 2030
- Develop strategic roadmaps for emerging sectors (quantum bioengineering, neural interfaces, climate AI)
- Facilitate cross-disciplinary workshops with C-suite executives and government agencies
- Author annual 'Future State' reports with predictive analytics and scenario modeling
- Design innovation frameworks for ethical AI deployment and sustainable tech adoption
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype 2026-ready solutions
- Represent company at global futurism forums and policy summits
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or tech R&D leadership
- Expertise in exponential technology trends (quantum, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Proven track record developing scenario-based strategic plans
- Strong data visualization skills (Tableau, Python, D3.js)
- Published work in peer-reviewed futurism journals or industry whitepapers
- Certificate from World Future Society or Association of Professional Futurists
- Experience with horizon scanning methodologies (Delphi, STEEP analysis)
