Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum AI, neural interfaces, climate engineering) to identify disruptive opportunities
- Develop predictive models for societal shifts in 2026-2030 timeframe
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and policy teams
- Author strategic white papers on long-term technological convergence
- Represent company at global futurism forums and patent symposiums
- Mentor junior futurists on scenario planning methodologies
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic foresight or technology consulting
- Published research on AI governance or post-human technologies
- Proficiency in trend analysis tools (Gartner, Forrester, custom ML models)
- Experience with scenario planning frameworks (e.g., Delphi method)
- Portfolio demonstrating 2025+ technology impact predictions
- Security clearance for classified innovation projects
