Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for 2026+ technological and societal trends
- Develop scenario-based strategic roadmaps for 3-5 year innovation cycles
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Present trend analysis to executive stakeholders and board members
- Partner with venture capital arms to identify emerging startup opportunities
- Build predictive models for market disruption in key industries
- Author thought leadership publications on future technology trajectories
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field
- 5+ years experience in innovation strategy or trend analysis
- Proven track record of translating trends into commercial opportunities
- Expertise in AI, biotech, or quantum computing ecosystems
- Exceptional data visualization and presentation skills
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFCS) preferred
- Portfolio of published trend analysis or scenario planning projects
