Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026+ technology roadmaps using predictive analytics and scenario modeling
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities in emerging markets
- Produce strategic whitepapers and thought leadership for industry conferences
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype next-gen solutions in our innovation sandbox
- Monitor global tech trends and geopolitical shifts affecting long-term strategy
- Mentor junior futurists using our proprietary foresight methodology
- Present strategic recommendations to the board of directors
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related quantitative field
- Minimum 7 years in strategic foresight or technology innovation consulting
- Proven experience with scenario planning tools (e.g., Gartner Hype Cycle, Delphi method)
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging tech domains: AI ethics, quantum applications, or climate tech
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston or APF)
- Exceptional storytelling ability to translate complex futures into actionable insights
- Portfolio demonstrating published thought leadership on future trends
