Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 technology roadmaps anticipating AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities in emerging markets
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to forecast industry disruptions 3-5 years ahead
- Partner with C-suite executives to align futuristic initiatives with business objectives
- Design and implement innovation frameworks for rapid prototyping of future-focused solutions
- Present strategic foresight findings to investors and board members
- Manage a portfolio of experimental projects with $5M+ annual R&D budget
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futuristics, Technology Strategy, or related field
- 10+ years experience in strategic foresight or emerging technology roles
- Proven track record of successful tech adoption in Fortune 500 environments
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, quantum computing, or synthetic biology
- Exceptional data visualization and scenario planning capabilities
- Published thought leadership in technology journals (IEEE, MIT Tech Review)
- Experience with futures research methodologies (Delphi, STEEP analysis)
