Responsibilities
- Architect 2026 technology roadmaps by analyzing quantum computing, neurotech convergence, and decentralized AI systems
- Lead cross-functional workshops to synthesize insights from biotechnology, space exploration, and climate tech sectors
- Develop predictive models for societal shifts driven by brain-computer interfaces and autonomous ecosystems
- Partner with product teams to embed future-proofing principles into development lifecycles
- Author thought leadership publications on the 2026 digital frontier for industry conferences
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Present quarterly future-state briefings to the board of directors
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or equivalent experience
- 8+ years in strategic foresight with proven impact on organizational transformation
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies: quantum computing, synthetic biology, and AGI
- Portfolio demonstrating published future-state analyses (white papers, scenario plans)
- Experience with horizon scanning methodologies and trend impact assessment
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Futures Thinking (e.g., from University of Houston)
