Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum AI, neuro-interfaces, climate engineering) through proprietary Horizon Matrix framework
- Develop 5-year strategic roadmaps for product innovation and market expansion
- Lead scenario planning workshops with executive stakeholders and venture partners
- Author quarterly Horizon Briefings for investor and board audiences
- Manage innovation pipeline with $10M+ annual R&D budget allocation
- Represent Horizon at Davos, SXSW, and industry futurist symposiums
- Mentor cross-functional teams in adaptive strategy methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting or corporate innovation with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven track record in launching market-disruptive technologies post-2020
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech verticals (e.g., synthetic biology, quantum ML)
- Certified Futurist (CFP) or equivalent foresight methodology certification
- Published thought leadership in MIT Tech Review or equivalent tier
- Advanced degree in Strategic Foresight, Systems Theory, or related field
- Fluency in data visualization tools (Tableau, D3.js) and predictive modeling
- Portfolio of 3+ successful future-state implementations
