Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year technology foresight frameworks using trend analysis and scenario planning
- Lead ideation workshops for quantum computing, AI ethics, and biotech integration
- Produce annual '2026 Horizon Report' with actionable strategic recommendations
- Partner with R&D to prototype next-gen solutions in immersive environments
- Monitor geopolitical and socio-economic shifts impacting tech adoption timelines
- Mentor junior futurists and establish industry thought leadership channels
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related quantitative field
- 5+ years in strategic planning within tech, consulting, or innovation labs
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies and technology forecasting models
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and predictive analytics
- Demonstrated experience with emerging tech ecosystems (Web3, AGI, neurotech)
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed futurism journals
- Security clearance or ability to obtain for classified projects
