Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies, market trends, and global megatrends impacting 2026+
- Develop and maintain strategic foresight models using scenario planning, Delphi techniques, and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional workshops to synthesize complex data into actionable strategic recommendations
- Author high-impact foresight reports and executive briefings translating future possibilities into present decisions
- Collaborate with R&D teams to integrate future insights into innovation pipelines and product roadmaps
- Establish and nurture partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and think tanks
- Monitor and evaluate the evolution of key trends, adjusting strategies based on real-time data
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 7 years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or foresight research
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario development, and systemic thinking frameworks
- Proficiency with foresight tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis, Weak Signal Detection)
- Exceptional data visualization and storytelling skills for complex future scenarios
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Experience presenting to executive stakeholders and influencing strategic decisions
- Portfolio demonstrating successful foresight projects with measurable outcomes
