Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies, socio-economic trends, and disruptive forces impacting 2026
- Develop strategic roadmaps for future-proofing product portfolios and business models
- Lead scenario-planning workshops with C-suite executives to stress-test long-term viability
- Partner with R&D teams to integrate foresight findings into innovation pipelines
- Author whitepapers and thought leadership on future-proofing methodologies
- Mentor junior futurists and cross-functional teams on strategic foresight practices
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts affecting technology adoption timelines
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Proven experience with scenario planning, Delphi methods, and trend impact analysis
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, climate tech)
- Exceptional ability to synthesize complex data into compelling narratives
- Strong presentation skills with executive audiences across global markets
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., AC/FS, CSO) preferred
