Responsibilities
- Develop and implement horizon-scanning frameworks for emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Produce strategic foresight reports for C-suite and board stakeholders
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and policy teams
- Design ethical governance frameworks for transformative technologies
- Establish partnerships with global research institutions and government agencies
- Mentor junior futurists and build the organization's foresight capabilities
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future studies
- Proven track record influencing Fortune 500 technology roadmaps
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and systems thinking
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Policy, or related field
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or major media
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (Delphi, STEEP, horizon scanning)
- Experience advising on AI ethics and societal impact
