Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI ethics, climate tech, neuro interfaces) to identify 2026 market opportunities
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for enterprise adaptation to post-2025 disruptions
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align R&D priorities with future human needs
- Produce trend reports and predictive models for executive decision-making
- Partner with product teams to incubate 2026-ready prototypes and MVPs
- Represent company at Davos and TED-style futurism forums
- Mentor junior futurists using our proprietary Trend-Synthesis Methodology
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or Strategic Foresight (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in trend analysis, innovation strategy, or emerging technology consulting
- Published thought leadership on post-2025 societal/tech shifts (whitepapers, journals)
- Expertise in scenario planning tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis, Horizon Scanning)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-strategy implementations
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) for trend mapping
- Understanding of exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex futures into actionable insights
