Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret global megatrends, technological disruptions, and socio-economic shifts to identify strategic opportunities for 2026
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks to prepare the organization for future market conditions and competitive landscapes
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed future-thinking into product development, marketing, and operational planning
- Produce high-impact foresight reports and executive briefings translating complex future scenarios into actionable business strategies
- Establish and maintain relationships with futurists, industry disruptors, and academic thought leaders
- Design and implement innovation roadmaps aligned with long-term organizational vision
- Monitor emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and assess their commercial implications
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Business, or related field; PhD preferred
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex future insights into executable business strategies
- Exceptional communication skills with experience presenting to executive leadership
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal impact
- Portfolio of published foresight work or strategic frameworks for future planning
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Futures Studies (preferred)
