Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic technology roadmaps targeting 2026 industry disruption
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and assess commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board stakeholders
- Build and manage a network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
- Author thought leadership publications on 2026 technology convergence scenarios
- Oversee R&D investments in breakthrough technologies with 3-5 year ROI horizons
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or technology consulting
- Proven track record of forecasting tech trends and driving adoption
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI, blockchain, AR/VR)
- Exceptional data modeling and scenario-planning capabilities
- Experience presenting to C-suite executives and investment committees
- Portfolio of published futurist research or technology roadmaps
- Proficiency in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, horizon scanning)
