Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Develop 2026 strategic roadmaps for product innovation
- Present trend analysis to executive leadership and investors
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype future solutions
- Build scenario models for technological disruptions
- Author thought leadership publications and conference presentations
- Mentor junior futurists and innovation specialists
Qualifications
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or tech R&D
- Proven track record of predicting market trends (include 2+ case studies)
- Expertise in scenario planning and technology adoption curves
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Strong data modeling and visualization skills (Python/Tableau)
- Experience presenting to C-suite and board-level audiences
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight preferred
