Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 innovation roadmap, integrating quantum computing, synthetic biology, and decentralized AI
- Lead cross-functional teams to develop patent-pending technologies with 10x industry impact potential
- Establish strategic partnerships with NASA, MIT Media Lab, and frontier research institutions
- Drive commercialization of breakthrough technologies through agile prototyping and rapid iteration cycles
- Present visionary frameworks to C-suite executives and board members for multi-billion dollar investment decisions
- Author thought leadership publications on exponential technology trends and their societal implications
- Mentor next-generation futurists through Horizon's 'Visionary Vanguard' program
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related exponential technology field
- 10+ years in strategic innovation leadership with portfolio of $500M+ commercialized technologies
- Proven track record of scaling exponential ventures from concept to unicorn status
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging tech domains: quantum computing, neurotech, or climate engineering
- Published author or keynote speaker at Davos, TED, or equivalent global forums
- Certification in Foresight Methodology (e.g., from University of Houston's Foresight program)
- Fluency in at least two programming languages (Python/R) and quantum algorithm design
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ technologies deployed at global scale with measurable societal impact
