Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 Strategic Innovation Framework, aligning R&D with market disruption opportunities
- Lead cross-functional teams of quantum physicists, AI ethicists, and biotech engineers in moonshot projects
- Develop predictive models for technology adoption curves and regulatory landscapes through 2030
- Secure and manage $50M+ in venture capital and government grants for frontier research
- Establish industry-wide standards for ethical AI deployment and quantum security protocols
- Present findings to C-suite executives and board members, driving $100M+ strategic decisions
- Mentor a global team of 20+ futurists and researchers through quarterly innovation sprints
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Physics, or Futurology with 10+ years in emerging tech strategy
- Proven track record of leading breakthrough projects valued at $50M+ (quantum/AI/biotech focus)
- Expertise in scenario planning, technology forecasting, and disruption modeling
- Published thought leadership in top-tier journals (Nature, IEEE Futures, etc.)
- Deep understanding of quantum computing architectures and generative AI ethics
- Exceptional stakeholder management with Fortune 500 executives and government bodies
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., WFS, APF) or equivalent
