Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 innovation strategy roadmap aligning with emerging tech trends
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping breakthrough solutions for next-gen markets
- Conduct horizon scanning and scenario planning for disruptive technologies
- Partner with R&D to accelerate commercialization of experimental technologies
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders and board members
- Build and maintain an external ecosystem of futurists and tech pioneers
- Champion human-centered design in all innovation initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in innovation strategy, R&D, or futurism with Fortune 500 experience
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Proven track record of commercializing experimental technologies
- Exceptional scenario planning and foresight methodology skills
- Advanced degree in relevant field (MS/MBA/PhD preferred)
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology innovation
- Fluency in strategic foresight frameworks (e.g., Delphi, STEEP)
- Portfolio showcasing 3+ major innovation initiatives launched
