Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive 2026+ strategic foresight framework using horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning methodologies
- Produce monthly 'Future Pulse' reports identifying disruptive technologies, regulatory shifts, and consumer behavior patterns
- Lead quarterly innovation sprints with R&D teams to prototype solutions for 2026 market realities
- Partner with Product and Engineering to integrate future-ready capabilities into product roadmaps
- Design and facilitate executive workshops on systemic risk and opportunity assessment
- Mentor junior strategists in futures thinking methodologies and critical analysis
- Represent the organization at global futurist forums and industry conferences
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and systems thinking
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies: AGI, quantum computing, synthetic biology, and climate tech
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with experience creating compelling visualizations
- Published thought leadership in futures or innovation (whitepapers, journals, conferences)
- Certification in futures methodologies (e.g., WFS, APF) preferred
