Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies with 2026+ commercial viability
- Develop strategic roadmaps for quantum computing, synthetic biology, and AGI integration
- Interface with C-suite executives to align innovation portfolios with business objectives
- Curate and manage cross-disciplinary innovation ecosystems
- Author forward-looking white papers for industry and policy stakeholders
- Drive patent strategy for breakthrough scientific discoveries
- Mentor next-generation futurists and innovation specialists
Qualifications
- PhD in emerging technology field (AI, biotech, quantum) or equivalent experience
- 10+ years in strategic innovation leadership at Fortune 500 or unicorn startup
- Published thought leadership in technology forecasting (Harvard Business Review, Nature, etc.)
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI ethics
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Global network of scientific and industry influencers
- Experience advising government technology policy initiatives
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
