Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive 2026 innovation roadmap aligned with long-term business objectives
- Analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) to identify disruptive opportunities
- Lead cross-functional workshops to foster future-thinking across all departments
- Author thought leadership content positioning the company as an industry futurist
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype next-gen solutions and validate market readiness
- Establish strategic alliances with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Monitor geopolitical and socio-economic trends impacting future business landscapes
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology, Business, or Future Studies; PhD preferred
- 10+ years in innovation strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling and executive communication skills
- Experience managing innovation budgets exceeding $10M
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFTR)
- Portfolio published on future trends or innovation strategy
