Responsibilities
- Develop and execute multi-year innovation roadmaps aligned with 2026 technological inflection points
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify breakthrough technologies in AI, quantum computing, and biotech
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to integrate future trends into corporate strategy
- Manage innovation incubators and accelerate R&D projects with $5M+ annual budgets
- Present foresight insights to global stakeholders through executive briefings and white papers
- Build and lead cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, and business strategists
- Establish KPIs to measure innovation ROI and market disruption potential
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years experience in corporate innovation, R&D, or technology strategy
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough products/services with measurable market impact
- Deep expertise in emerging technology trends (AI, quantum, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex concepts to executive audiences
- Experience managing innovation budgets >$2M and cross-functional teams of 10+
- Published thought leadership in tech futurism or innovation strategy
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (scenario planning, Delphi, etc.)
