Responsibilities
- Research and analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, neurotech) and societal shifts impacting 2026 landscapes
- Develop 3-5 year innovation roadmaps with measurable KPIs for future-proofing products and services
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future scenarios into actionable R&D initiatives
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs to co-develop 2026-ready solutions
- Present compelling future-vision narratives to stakeholders and investors using data-driven storytelling
- Oversee pilot programs for breakthrough technologies (e.g., generative AI applications, autonomous systems)
- Monitor global policy/regulatory changes affecting future tech adoption and advise compliance strategies
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in strategic innovation, R&D leadership, or futurism consulting
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, biotech) and their societal implications
- Proven track record of launching future-oriented products/services with measurable market impact
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario modeling capabilities
- Strong executive communication skills for translating complex futures into business strategies
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., from World Future Society) preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or implemented future-vision projects
