Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing 5-year innovation roadmaps aligned with 2026 technological inflection points
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, quantum computing, biotech, and decentralized systems
- Design and execute scenario-planning frameworks for high-impact future states
- Partner with R&D to incubate moonshot projects targeting 2026 market readiness
- Author thought leadership positioning Horizon Dynamics as the authority on emerging tech
- Drive strategic partnerships with academic labs and innovation hubs
- Present future-vision briefings to C-suite and Board of Directors
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record developing and implementing 5+ year technology roadmaps
- Deep expertise in emerging tech ecosystems (AI, quantum, biotech, Web3)
- Exceptional data storytelling and scenario visualization skills
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFSD, CFP) preferred
- Experience advising Fortune 500 companies on innovation strategy
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-state implementation projects
