Responsibilities
- Develop 5-10 year technology roadmaps for emerging sectors including quantum AI, neural interfaces, and climate engineering
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams in translating futuristic concepts into minimum viable prototypes
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic research labs and government innovation initiatives
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies before market adoption
- Design ethical frameworks for next-generation autonomous systems and human-machine symbiosis
- Present foresight analyses to C-suite executives and venture capital partners
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic innovation or technology foresight roles
- Proven track record in developing long-term technology roadmaps
- Expertise in at least two emerging domains (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI, etc.)
- Strong background in systems thinking and scenario planning methodologies
- PhD or equivalent in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field preferred
- Published research on technological singularity or paradigm shifts
- Experience securing $5M+ innovation grants or venture funding
