Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year innovation roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology convergence
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen products using emerging tech stack
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify disruptive market opportunities
- Partner with venture capital arm to evaluate and integrate startup innovations
- Present strategic blueprints to board of directors and external stakeholders
- Establish ethical frameworks for responsible innovation deployment
- Mentor junior futurists in trend analysis and scenario planning methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation or R&D leadership within tech/biotech sectors
- Proven track record of launching future-facing products with $50M+ revenue impact
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Expertise in emerging technologies: generative AI, neuromorphic computing, synthetic biology
- Published thought leadership in innovation strategy or futurology
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Innovation Management preferred
- Experience securing $10M+ budgets for experimental R&D initiatives
