Responsibilities
- Analyze global tech trends, economic shifts, and societal changes to forecast 2026+ innovation opportunities
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing and executing future-ready product roadmaps
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and industry pioneers
- Design and oversee implementation of prototyping labs for emerging technologies
- Present visionary insights to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Drive R&D initiatives in AI ethics, quantum computing applications, and sustainable systems
- Mentor innovation specialists and foster a culture of experimental thinking
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Innovation, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, R&D leadership, or innovation management
- Proven track record of launching future-focused products or services
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies: quantum computing, biodesign, or AI governance
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario planning capabilities
- Experience securing $5M+ innovation budgets and managing cross-continental teams
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed futurism journals
- Certification in Futures Methodology (e.g., from WFS or APF)
