Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year technology adoption roadmaps for emerging fields (quantum AI, neural interfaces, synthetic biology)
- Lead cross-disciplinary task forces to evaluate and integrate breakthrough technologies into commercial pipelines
- Establish ethical frameworks for responsible innovation in partnership with our AI Ethics Board
- Present strategic technology forecasts to C-suite executives and venture partners
- Manage $50M+ innovation fund allocation across R&D initiatives
- Author thought leadership publications on technological singularity preparedness
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futuristics with 8+ years in tech strategy
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech)
- Deep understanding of technological convergence patterns and exponential growth curves
- Experience leading cross-functional innovation teams through ambiguity
- Published research in IEEE Nature or equivalent peer-reviewed journals
- Proficiency in strategic foresight methodologies (Horizon Scanning, Delphi Analysis)
- Strong network with academic research institutions and national labs
