Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech integration)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive innovations with 3-5 year commercial viability
- Design strategic partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs
- Present technology adoption frameworks to C-suite executives and board members
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts affecting future tech deployment
- Build innovation incubation programs for emerging talent
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 8 years in technology strategy or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, blockchain, or neurotech
- Exceptional strategic planning and scenario modeling skills
- Experience with technology governance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Strong network within Silicon Valley innovation ecosystems
