Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology innovation strategy across quantum, AI, and biotech domains
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' prototyping sessions with MIT/Stanford research partners
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 5+ year market impact
- Present strategic roadmaps to C-suite and board members with data-backed ROI projections
- Partner with policy teams to shape ethical frameworks for next-gen AI systems
- Manage $2M annual R&D budget for experimental technology initiatives
- Mentor a team of futurists and technology architects
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging tech commercialization
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, or synthetic biology
- Published thought leadership in IEEE/ACM journals or equivalent tier publications
- Proven track record of launching technologies with 10+ year market cycles
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Physics, or Engineering preferred
- Experience advising Fortune 500 CTOs on long-term tech adoption
- Fluency in technology forecasting methodologies (Delphi, scenario planning)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful technology commercialization
