Responsibilities
- Architect AI research roadmap targeting 2026 technological inflection points
- Lead team of 12+ researchers in quantum machine learning and generative AI
- Secure $5M+ annual research grants from DARPA, NSF, and private foundations
- Publish 3+ breakthrough papers in Nature/Science annually
- Develop ethical governance frameworks for autonomous systems
- Collaborate with product teams to commercialize research outputs
- Mentor next-generation AI specialists through university partnerships
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, AI, or Quantum Computing with 8+ years research experience
- Proven track record of leading large-scale AI research initiatives ($3M+ budgets)
- Expertise in transformer architectures, quantum algorithms, and neuromorphic computing
- Published top-tier conference papers (NeurIPS, ICML, etc.)
- Strong patent portfolio (10+ granted AI/quantum patents)
